There’s a reason no one ever talks about “men’s health care.” Women understand that. A lot of men, however, don’t. And it’s time we all did. There’s really only one kind of health care; it’s human health care.
I am truly sickened by the recent attacks on women in the media.
Not just Sandra Fluke. Although this woman has my complete support in the attacks on her in the media. But women against other women.
If you are a woman, and you support this thinly veiled “slut shaming,” you can feel free to stop following me and go ahead and delete me from your profiles. I never liked to proclaim my “feminism” or beliefs on reproductive rights or politics because quite frankly, I don’t want to impose my views on others. But this has gone way too far.
It’s the year 2012, and if people don’t understand the usage or reasons why a woman need to use contraception, then this is YOUR fault, not ours. This could be a matter of life or death for some women, and even so, why the hell should it matter at ALL if a woman wants to use it for family planning? You know, this whole overpopulation thing on this planet? Not to mention unplanned pregnancies that lead to…This is all a matter of public health, if you think about it.
As I told my friend earlier, I think the ultimate plan is to get us all back in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant. Because then, they’ve figured us out.
I’m married. In a committed relationship. I was prescribed for the pill for a hormonal imbalance and have every right to use it in a family planning situation. According to Mr. Big Fat Idiot himself, I should make videos. Well, okay. Where’s the video camera? You fucking asshole!!
I know Obama’s administration was feeling pressure, but contraception issues/female health issues don’t discriminate. This was just a kowtow and it pisses me off. Even the religious affiliations need to understand that women don’t use contraception just for boinking, there are also health reasons why. But nooooo - women might have SEX.
